What Personal Information We Collect
Under applicable Canadian privacy law, “personal information” means information about an identifiable individual. We collect only what is necessary for the purposes described in Section 4.

This information is recorded in server logs for security and operational purposes only.
Collected Directly From You
When you or your organization contacts us, creates an account, or engages our services, we may collect first and last name, job title or role, work email address, work phone number, and business name and address.
We collect only the information that is reasonably necessary for the identified purposes. We will not collect additional categories of information without first notifying you and obtaining your consent.
Why We Collect Your Information
We collect and use personal information for the following purposes:
Automatically Collected Data
- To monitor and maintain the security and operational integrity of onecurb.ca; and
- To diagnose technical problems.
Business Contact Information
- To communicate with you in your professional capacity regarding our services;
- To set up and manage your organization’s account;

- To manage our business relationship, including billing and partnership coordination;
- To send service updates and, with your consent, relevant industry communications; and
- To comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
We will not use your personal information for any purpose beyond those listed above without first obtaining your consent, except where permitted or required by law.
Consent
Under applicable Canadian privacy law, we are required to obtain your consent before collecting, using, or disclosing your personal information, unless an exception applies. Your consent may be express or implied from the circumstances of a business relationship.
Because OneCurb operates exclusively in a B2B context, the collection of business contact information in the course of establishing or maintaining a business relationship is generally covered by implied consent. We will seek express consent where required.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting our Privacy Officer (see Section 13), subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.
Marketing Communications
We will only send promotional or marketing communications if you have expressly consented to receive them, or where permitted under Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) in the context of an existing business relationship. You may opt out at any time.
Sharing & Disclosure of Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
Within Our Organization
Personal information may be accessed by employees or contractors of OneCurb who need it to perform their job functions. All such individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations.
Service Providers
We may engage trusted third-party service providers (e.g., hosting infrastructure, email delivery) to process personal information on our behalf. These parties are contractually required to handle your information solely as directed by us and in a manner consistent with this policy.
Legal Requirements & Business Transactions
We may disclose personal information without your consent only as permitted under PIPA, including when required by law or court order, to establish or defend a legal claim, or in connection with a proposed merger or acquisition where the recipient agrees to protect the information consistently with PIPA.
Retention & Destruction
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. When personal information is no longer needed, we will securely destroy, delete, or de-identify it consistent with PIPA s. 35.
Protecting Your Personal Information
We implement security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including TLS/SSL encryption for data transmitted via our website, access controls limiting information to authorized personnel, storage on servers in secured facilities, and confidentiality obligations for all staff and contractors.
While we take all reasonable precautions, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We are committed to notifying affected individuals promptly in the event of a material privacy breach as required by applicable law.
Data Location
Your personal information is stored and processed in Canada. If we engage a service provider located outside Canada, we will ensure that comparable privacy protections apply as required under PIPA.
